If you are struggling with symptoms from hormonal imbalance and would like a natural alternative to relieve them, Hormone Yoga, HY, is an effective and efficient practice to get you back on track.
HY is a dynamic set sequence of yoga postures and breathing techniques that naturally balance the hormones by stimulating the ovaries, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands.
Most women start seeing results and continue to feel better within a week of consistent practice. It is suitable for most women and requires no previous yoga experience.
These workshops run about 7 hours and are offered in many formats, both in person and online. It is suitable for most women over 35, though it can help women of any age dealing with symptoms.
HY is also great for postpartum moms (6 months) for milk production and can even help you get pregnant, if you are having troubles conceiving.

If you have at least 3 people, you can set up a workshop that aligns with your schedule. The workshop takes 6-8 hrs depending on the number of people and we can meet once or as many times as you need for the time required.

I am running a couple of virtual stress reducing practices through Torus Centre for Integrative Healing, in Batavia IL, as a lead up to my Hormone Yoga (HY) Workshop that I will be doing live in November. For those in the Chicagoland area, I will also be there in person July 20th for an Intro to HY and Stress Reduction workshop from 10-12 CST. These workshops will benefit you even if you are not going to take the HY Workshop.
Stress and hormones are deeply connected and when we can learn to manage our stress better, we will notice a shift in our hormonal symptoms.
It’s hard to find time during this busy season, so we will focus on some short, effective techniques that have a big impact…3 breathing techniques and a restorative pose with pillows and blankets.
For many of us, we spend years focused on others, pouring our energy and time into them. It isn’t until around menopause that many women talk of a shift in that focus. A greater desire for self care, reflection, exploration of dreams and desires begins to emerge.
I will share a lovely meditation of calling your name, calling all parts of yourself, from past to present, into awareness. We will watch them all become one as you see yourself now, the culmination of all the parts. Then we will ask what excites, grounds and brings peaceful within, we will tap into a deep desire of what the heart truly wants and plant that seed to nourish and grow as it should.
