Find freedom through structure. This class offers ancient tools and techniques, adapted for the modern day practitioner. Learn a system that will lay a foundation of support in developing or deepening your meditation practice. You'll learn how to adapt each step, based on what you need each time you come to the mat. I'll support you on your journey throughout our time together with replays, a private support page and email access for questions.
There will be kriya practices to cleanse and purify parts of the energetic body, there will be mantra to shift our energy and thoughts, we will cultivate balance and shed the ideas of who we think we are in order to connect back to who we truly are, so that we can live from a space of deep knowing, connection and love, which is our true nature.
We open each class chatting about your practice and any questions that have come up and then discuss the meditation techniques for the night.
In this series we will focus on a transformative journey through the five vital energies, or prana vayus, that govern our physical and emotional well-being. It’s like a spring cleaning of the energy body to help you connect with and balance these essential life forces. I will be sharing new techniques which involve specific mudras for each of the five energies and relate to a specific part of the breath cycle.
You will be able to keep the videos for the week, so if you can’t make it live with me, you can still join this series. As a bonus, you will get access to my Morning Meds practices for the duration of the series.
This class is open to all levels. Sitting on the ground is not a prerequisite and neither is having a quiet mind.
I am a Senior Teacher and Sadhaka Yogini in the ISHTA lineage. ISHTA is the Integrated Science of Hatha Tantra and Ayurveda and it means "that which resonates with the individual spirit.” I will be your guide through these practices and help you deepen, or establish, your meditation practice. Whether this is your first time meditating or you have been sitting for years, this series will meet you exactly where you are at.
