Come melt away your tension, it's time to let go...
We will open with 2-3 restorative postures, held for 10-25 minutes each, in order to relax and release the tension held in our body. We will then close with a 20-30 minute yoga nidra to further release tension physically, mentally and emotionally.
Nidra is a guided meditation done lying down and you will have the option to do it in savasana or another restorative posture.

As we move deeper into autumn, you may feel the desire to turn inward and slow down as everything continues to amp up around you.
Join me for this deeply relaxing immersion...we will start with some breath work, we'll do a check in to see where everyone is at and get some ideas for what to bring into the nidra practice.
You'll enjoy over an hour of restorative postures and then we'll close with a 30 min nidra practice that will be created just for your group. You are welcome to share your thoughts in the conversation or simply be present as a listener.
All you need is a mat and water bottle, everything else will be provided.
We will meet in Cedarbrae and the address will go out 2 hrs before class.

Start the Day with Restorative Flow:
This practice will be a blend of moving and resting, exploring and releasing. We will use props to support us as we move in and out of gentle postures, holding them at the end of each flowing sequence.
Lunch Break:
Lunch will be catered with vegetarian/vegan/meat/gluten free options. We will be on beautiful grounds and weather permitting, we will be outside for lunch. We are in Alberta and know the weather, so be prepared for anything and layer! We will have a wood burning stove to keep us toasty as well.
End the Day with Restorative Nidra:
We will do a restorative practice in which your whole body is fully supported and held so that you can let go of all effort and simply receive. We will follow this practice with Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, a deeply relaxing and healing practice. It is equivalent to 4-5hrs of sleep and reduces tension physically, mentally and emotionally.
We will close our time outside in silent reflection.
